I’m so bad at updating this blog… so bad, in fact, that it took me longer to remember the name of my own blog and find the site and log-in than it did to actually write this post. Yikes. Anyways, I wanted to provide a bit of a life update for those who I… Continue reading Life Update 6.21.18
I LOVE to host. Seriously. One of my favorite things about moving to D.C. has been getting the opportunity to host so many friends and family in our little home. Sometimes people are coming to visit us specifically, and sometime we just get to play Hotel Smith while people are in town for a conference… Continue reading The Art of Hospitality
I know it’s been a while since I’ve been on here… almost 6 months! I guess life got a little crazy… I had started a new job, Andrew’s Chick-fil-A has been killing it but keeping him busy, and we’ve been very involved with our church and social life! I recently was elevated to Sephora’s highest level of their loyalty membership: VIB Rogue. One of the adjustments of being married and living with your spouse is that you go from eating a lot of meals out with your friends, to eating dinner together most nights at home with your spouse. Because your best friend already lives with you now so it’s a great way to catch up on your days, have quality time, and save some $$$. If you’re like me, you also welcome this change because cooking for 1 person can be quite a chore so it finally makes cooking worthwhile to have someone with whom to share your food.
So here goes! Join me on this journey of… well, everything. It’ll be fun. If nothing else, it can be at least one thing you get to see on your newsfeed that isn’t about the election.
